The children set up a zip line for their playmobil people.  It worked quite well!

Rainy day lego game

Today we tried a simple game with Lego pieces.  I prepared a tray with simple models of just 3 or 4 pieces and put the matching bricks in the pots.  The children had to find the matching bricks and recreate the identical model.  They breezed through most of them but had to look closely a couple of times and help each other find mismatched bricks.  They then broke them all up and made models for each other to match.

Seren is smiley as ever and enjoying her new found skill of sitting up.

Noah's Ark

We visited Noah's Ark Zoo Farm in March and saw a huge array of animals from Elephant to Iguana.  We asked Keziah which animal was her favourite at the end of the day and she assuredly told us it was the rabbits.  It will be easy to keep her happy then!  We look forward to returning there as we were the last to leave and still didn't see everything!

Float or Sink

This was a fun and really simple science experiment.  The children collected lots of objects from around the house and garden and they tested them to see which would float and which would sink.  Reuben then drew pictures of the results and Keziah kept trying out new objects.

Storytime

The children really love books.  I enjoy reading this one - Dr Seuss Cat in the Hat!  They've recently got into acting out short stories as I read them.  It's fun to watch.

Climbing

The children got to embrace their love of climbing recently with 'Daddy Daddy' showing them the ropes!

Squiggles

This is a fun drawing game that Reuben and Keziah love.  Someone draws a squiggle and someone else turns it into a picture (no snakes allowed...or worms...).
